I have been a home owner for just over 24 hours… and I have had the best 24 hours I have had in a long time… from signing all that paper work and drinks out with my banker, realtor and their realtor… to working this morning meeting potential incoming students (nothing to do with my house) and shopping for paint (still looking) and locks.
Right now I am exhausted but it is such a rewarding exhaustion. Everything I am doing is being done to make my house a home.
So far I have a sparkling bathroom… clean wood floors in the 2 bedrooms as well as clean closets (yes I have cleaned out my closets 😉 ), hall and front room… cleaned under and behind the stove (you won’t believe the things I found under there)
The dust bunnies, multiplied into Buffalos 😉 there was enough dog food for a doggies dinner and so many crumbs. I feel pretty good with all the work I have completed and having to work today. A pretty successful day all in all.
Congratulations!!!! It’s so exciting! I was in your shoes about 6 months ago. It’ s not easy, but it’s so worth it. Can’t wait to read all about it!

🙂 Thanks for reading… it isn’t easy… I’m amazed at how much work cleaning a empty place is… the people that were renting from the guy I bought from must have been pretty dirty. Ugh… I am enjoying slowly making it mine! 🙂
Kudos on the new house.
May you continue to love cleaning your house with that same intensity for the next 10 years to life. 😉
Thank you, also thanks for reading. I am hoping that I won’t have to clean with the intensity that I had to start… upkeep hopefully won’t be as bad…. Right?!?!?! 🙂
Now if only the rain would stop so I could have a nice day to get everything moved.
